GYROKINESIS® differs from GYROTONIC® in that, the resistance is created by the user itself without the help of a machine.
Through this method, the joints and muscles are gently worked with circular, rhythmic movements whilst integrating breathing patterns specific to each different movement.
Fluidity is the key to GYROKINESIS®. Postures are not held for long periods of time as they are in traditional yoga, but smoothly and harmoniously connected through the use of breath. This rhythm makes the exercises feel like they form part of a dance.
